Free Lecture on GAPS In Kitchener, Ontario

What do autism, ADD, ADHD and depression have in common with digestive issues such as gas, bloating, IBS and autoimmune illness’s such as celiac, Crohn’s, colitis, arthritis etc.? They all have a component of imbalanced gut flora which results in compromised emotional and physical health.

Are you an adult who has problems with depression, weight gain or eating disorders? Are you the parent of a child diagnosed with special needs? Are you someone who has been diagnosed with an autoimmune health challenge? Are you someone who suffers from any of the various digestive issues so common today? If you are then this free seminar may provide some answers for you.

Dr. Natasha Campbell-McBride has discovered that the link to all these seemingly different health problems is the intestinal system. In her quest to heal her son of autism, she discovered that going back to the basics of real food was the answer. Her son was 3 when he was diagnosed autistic. At 13 he is in school and doing well. Dr. Campbell-McBride is a Neurologist and a Clinical Nutritionist and putting both those specialties together developed a nutritional program that heals the gut lining and improves many chronic conditions.

Due to the remarkable success of this program and the fact that she is one doctor practicing in the UK, we are fortunate that she has begun to teach other practitioners how to help others with her program. I went to Chicago in October of 2011 and became one of the first Certified GAPS Practitioners.

Working with people and children with this program is very rewarding. It gets to the root cause of so many of the emotional and physical issues I have dealt with in my practice for the past 10 years. As a Holistic Practitioner, it has always been my quest to find the root cause and heal that. The body is a magnificent machine that can correct just about anything when it has the right tools.

There will be a free seminar at Fiddleheads on Bruce Street on Thursday December 8, 2011 at 6:30. It will be held in the education room at the front of the store. Please come out and learn more about the GAPS Nutritional Protocal.

Starting January 12, 2012, at the same location, will be a support group for people on the GAPS program. The cost for this support group will be a donation at the door. Pay what you can. The goal is to connect people, provide some teaching and sharing.

Please RSVP as space is limited. or 519-894-0002
